About the project

Project Status

RioCan has submitted a Zoning By Law Amendment and Plan of Subdivision proposal to the City of Toronto in August, 2021 to revitalize the 2956-2990 Eglinton Avenue East site into a thoughtfully designed mixed-use development. The proposal considers the site adjacency to an identified intensification corridor, its well-connected position within multiple transit lines and its inherent potential to better support the surrounding community.

    August 6, 2021

RioCan submitted the Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning Bylaw Amendment applications to the City of Toronto.

Project Description

The revitalization proposal includes three buildings that would collectively provide 935 residential units, new commercial and retail space at ground level and a total of 742 parking spaces to support both residents and our commercial tenants and customers. To further advance the reanimation of the site, the proposal includes a new public park, a new community space and the addition of 714 bicycle parking spaces. The buildings have been designed to preserve sky views, limit shadow impacts and work within the adjacent public realm’s character.
